BIO:
Professionally, beginning 30 some odd years ago, I worked as a production artist for a mail-order company, and subsequently worked free-lance in graphic design creating CD, DVD, and other package designs, business cards and various promotional materials, as well as commercial illustration, event photography, and for a time, worked writing, Directing, and editing television shows for a small national network. I am now retired and creating on my own terms for my own purposes.
I am a visual artist in photography, painting, and written word, but I have adapted the visual art to music composition as well. Using music software, I am able to illustrate music on the computer. The result is the same as with any musician, except I play no musical instrument with any proficiency. I hear a melody or a beat, play a few keystrokes on the midi keyboard, and then edit visually in the key editor until I hear what I see or see what I hear. Other than the occasional book cover design, or CD package design, I have been focusing on my own art the past few years, still creating new works in all chosen forms, and turning back to various unfinished projects.
